STS has a long history of about 50 years. It grows out of
amalgamation of a professional school, a vocational school and a party
school in 1994. .STS is a comprehensive professional school which
comes under the direct administration of the Shanghai Education
Commission. It is an important base for training arts and science.
Located in both Yangpu District and Putuo District, STS has a campus
of over 61 hectares with more than 40,000 square meters of building.
After about 50 years of development, Electronic Department as its
model major in Shanghai, STS is one of the 100-key professional
schools which Shanghai Education Commission is target to improve in
the new century. The school provides excellent facilities for study
and research. All-China Industry and Commercial Federation considers
Food Department practicing base as the national baking practice
workshop. All the other facilities such as multi-medial chemistry lab,
macro-organism checking lab, physics &chemistry lab, multi-media lab
